The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force alerted the Martin County Sheriff’s Office that a vehicle with a murder suspect just fled from law enforcement in their jurisdiction and was headed northbound into Martin County at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

Martin County Deputies attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver (Marquavious Davis) increased his speed and continued to flee. Deputies then conducted a VIT maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle. All three occupants were then ordered out of the car.

They initially did not comply. Deputies released a tear gas cannister inside the vehicle, forcing the suspects to come out without further incident.

Jamarquis Williams was identified as the person who had a warrant for first-degree murder with a firearm. The third person in the vehicle was not charged with a crime and released.
