Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene are demanding congressional records in an effort to uncover the truth about allegations of sexual misconduct against President Joe Biden.

Gaetz, a Fort Walton Beach Republican, said on Newsmax Tuesday night that he and Greene have requested Biden accuser Tara Reade’s employment records from the Senate to gauge her account of being sexually assaulted by Biden in the early 1990s. Reade worked for Biden at the time.

“Weeks ago, Marjorie Taylor Greene and I had the opportunity to interview Tara Reade. I found her to be one of the most credible witnesses I have ever interviewed in the practice of law or during my time in Congress,” Gaetz said on the Newsmax program “The Right Squad.”

“What I can share with Newsmax exclusively tonight is that Marjorie Taylor Greene and I are sending a demand for records to the Secretary of the Senate because we believe that Tara Reade’s employment records will further corroborate the claims she has made.”

As The Free Press had reported, Gaetz and Greene invited Reade to testify before the House Oversight Committee in March after Chairman James Comer approved their request. Gaetz said at the time that Comer authorized him and Greene to bring Reade in and “get the facts” of “this violent sexual assault.”

In 2020, Reade asserted that in 1993, when she worked for Biden as a Senate aide, the then-senator pinned her to a wall and stuck his hand under her skirt, penetrating her with his finger.

The mainstream media has largely ignored Reade’s story, while sensationalizing every accusation brought against former President Donald Trump

On Sunday, Reade offered an ominous preamble of her pending testimony this week.

“I want to make something clear. If something happens to me, all roads lead to Joe Biden,” Reade tweeted. “Joe Biden and DNC [Democratic National Committee] political machine threats, bullying and intimidation over the last three years will not work.”

“I am not suicidal. I should not be under investigation nor am I a foreign agent. I am a private citizen. I was a former staffer of Joe Biden’s that has chosen to step forward to tell the truth.”

“The tactics using intimidation and bullying to silence me and suppress me using DOJ and FBI and social media will not work. Leave me alone. I will testify under oath in Congress if asked to do so and tell what happened and what I know,” Reade continued.

“The Biden corruption must end. Period Thank you  @RepMTG  and @mattgaetz for inviting me to testify and caring about the truth!”
