Riverview Peeping Tom, Anthony Garcia Arrested

RIVERVIEW – 31-year-old Anthony Garcia has been arrested, after he violated a woman’s Riverview home and opened her bedroom curtains to watch her from outside her window on June 5, authorities said.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Garcia’s fingerprints were found on the back sliding glass door of the victim’s residence at Retreat at Crosstown Apartments in Riverview.

“This was a terrifying experience for this victim, and we are currently investigating other similar incidents in the same area,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister in a news release.

“Mr. Garcia matches the description in those incidents and additional charges are pending. We believe we got the man that was violating these residents’ privacy and their peace of mind.”

Garcia has been charged with ‘burglary of an occupied dwelling during a state of emergency and voyeurism.’
