Wesley Chapel Man Killed In Crash After Suffering Medical Emergency On Eiland Blvd.

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - A 5-year-old Wesley Chapel man died after a crash around 1:33 pm on Friday on Eiland Boulevard.

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – A 5-year-old Wesley Chapel man died after a crash that happened around 1:33 pm on Friday on Eiland Boulevard.

Troopers say the man was traveling eastbound on Eiland Boulevard, west of Fountain Road.

While negotiating a curve in the roadway, troopers say the man suffered a medical emergency
and crossed the centerline.

The pickup truck he was driving collided with the left front of both a van and an SUV in successive
order.

The Wesley Chapel man was transported to an area hospital but later died, troopers say.

The driver of the van, a 36-year-old Zephyrhills woman, and her 2-year-old passenger suffered only minor injuries in the crash.

Troopers say the driver of the SUV, a 70-year-old Miami man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
